                                                                                                              Shaking Our World Project

                                                     Changes in the Earth

Plate Tectonic explains the features and movement of Earth surface in the past and in the present. Plate Tectonic is the theory that Earth outer shell is plate, beneath plate is mantle, after mantle is outer core(liquid layer of the Earth) and inner core(solid layer of the Earth).  Plate Tectonic is the other version of the Continental Drift. In 1912 Alfred Wegener proposed this theory.

Do you agree or disagree with the theory of Plate Tectonics?
I agree, one plate goes under other one and it cause a lot of different features. For example, there are 3 kind of plate boundaries. First one is divergent boundary. When two plates moves in opposite direction and it creates mid-ocean ridge, rift valleys and seafloor spreading.

Second one is Convergent boundary. When one plate(oceanic crust) goes under another plate(continental crust). As a result of this creates mountains and volcanoes.

Third one is Transform Boundary. When two plates slide each other. It creates Earthquake and Tsunami. Earthquake- fault in the earth. Tsunami- Earthquake under the ocean.

I think that Alfred Wegener was right about Continental Drift. Movement of the plate changes shape of the continents and creates different features.

          Reflection
1) What did you enjoy most about this project?

I made a video about natural features, it was interesting

2) What was most challenging for you during this project?

I think everything was good, because our teacher helped a lot and my classmates also helped me when i needed help.

3) What new skills did you learn?

Working with different programs

4) Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work?

Yes, I would improve my poem and would add more vocabulary words

 5) What would you change about this project?

I would not change anything
